Overview
The MU-GAIH14 and MU-GAIH84 are High-Level Analog Input/Smart Transmitter Interface (HLAI/STI) FTAs, supporting up to 16 high-level DC signals. These modules are designed to interface with field transmitters, providing safe and accurate signal processing for hazardous areas.

Field Transmitter Compatibility:
Suitable for conventional and smart transmitters, with digital communication signals superimposed on the 4-20 mA signal.
Calibration and testing via system or hand-held communicator.
Signal Connectors:
Two 50-pin connectors for redundant IOPs (non-redundant configurations also supported).
One 50-pin auxiliary connector for remote monitoring and alarming.
Field Wiring:
Floating DC power source for energizing 2-wire or 3-wire 4-20 mA transmitters, including smart transmitters like Honeywell ST3000.
Open circuit voltage: 28 V, 20 mA current: 15 V.
Auxiliary Output:
1-5 Vdc PV signals available at auxiliary connector, connectable to a MU-GMAR52 Marshalling Panel.
Suitable for monitoring or recording devices with 1 MΩ minimum input resistance.
Smart Transmitter Communication:
Terminals 3 and 4 on the Galvanic Isolation Module support communication with smart transmitters.
Indicators:
Green indicator on FTA for active primary IOP (A).
Green indicator on each Galvanic Isolation Module for power status.

Maximum 1.2 A at 24 VDC with 20 mA signal on all inputs (28.8 W power consumption).
