The Foxboro FCM2F2 (P0914YZ) is a 200 Series Fieldbus Communications Module that supports long-distance signal transmission (up to 2 km) using multimode fiber optics (MMF). It reduces installation costs by eliminating the need for lengthy signal cables, enabling remote placement of 200 Series Fieldbus Modules close to field devices. The module is highly resistant to electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFI), and lightning, making it suitable for harsh environments.
