The Power Supply Distribution Module (PSD) 10303/1/1 is designed for use in configurations featuring redundant Central Parts and non-redundant I/O. Its primary function is to combine the output of the power supply units (PSUs) in the redundant Central Parts into a single 5 Vdc supply for the non-redundant I/O portion of the system. Each PSU module requires one PSD module.

Operational Considerations
The power supply to the Central Part must be routed through this module to ensure an equal voltage drop to both the Central Part and the I/O section.
Due to tight limits on the 5 Vdc power supply (± 5%), it is essential to install the PSD modules adjacent to the PSU modules to minimize voltage drop in the wiring.
Minimum Wire Diameter: 2.5 mm² (AWG 14).
The PSD module should only be replaced with the power supply to its associated PSU switched off.
