Il Field Control Processor 270 è un controller distribuito, opzionalmente tollerante ai guasti, montato sul campo
esegue il controllo del processo e le funzioni di allarme secondo una strategia di controllo definita dall'utente

Il Field Control Processor 270 (FCP270) è un processore distribuito, opzionalmente tollerante ai guasti, montato sul campo
modulo di controllo. L'FCP270 esegue insieme il controllo normativo, logico, temporale e sequenziale
moduli bus di campo collegati. Esegue inoltre l'acquisizione dei dati, il rilevamento e la notifica degli allarmi.
L'FCP270 si collega alla rete di controllo MESH tramite Ethernet in fibra ottica standard da 100 Mbps.
La versione tollerante agli errori dell'FCP270 è composta da due moduli processore. Questi moduli vengono installati in
slot FCP270 adiacenti in una piastra base FCP270 supportata per la comunicazione ad alta velocità tra
i moduli.
